Encinitas YMCA Skate Park

This park has the world's best known half-pipe and all the pros skate there like Tony Hawk, Bob Burnquist, bucky Lasek and tons of other vert skaters. The half-pipe is 80 feet wide and has various extensions and a roll-in with channel. Behind the ramp is a keyhole bowl which has a normal bowl section which drops into a large deep end. The park also has a street section with a mini-ramp and lots of rails. also is a ramp area with spines, humps and other stuff for the little kids. this park is very good for vert and bowl skaters. The park is made out of plywood and asphlat. it costs $10 (US) max for a 2 hour session and helmets must be worn too. Thanks Alex for the pics.
Encinitas YMCA, California - Coming from San Diego take Interstate 5 north. Exit at Encinitas Boulevard and head east. Make the first left [north] onto Saxony Road. The park is on the left in the YMCA. The address is 200 Saxony Road.
